ROXANNE VAN STRAATEN – BAP (SA), CFAICBA (SA) & TT (SA)
Roxanne van Straaten joined Equity Accounting CC in 2012 thereafter qualifying as a Business Accountant in Practice, Certified Financial Accountant and Tax Technician and has since become a Partner at Equity Accounting CC. Roxanne is an accomplished expert in personal income tax, Annual Financial Statements, tax planning and all related matters. Roxanne also holds a National Diploma in Marketing. Roxanne has played an integral role in the business and its development as to where it is today.
DILLIN BERTRAND – SAIPA, FAP (SA), CTP (SA)
Dillin Bertrand joined Equity Accounting CC in 2017 after completing his scholarship for Bachelor of Technology Degree in Cost and Management Accounting. Dillin served his 3-year learnership with Equity Accounting CC and is now a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), as well as a member of the Institute of Accounting and Commerce (IAC). Dillin has since become a Partner at Equity Accounting CC, and has used his mentorship from founder Steven East as a foundation for building an extensive career in the fields of Accounting, Taxation and Bookkeeping.
SURAJNA FRANCIS
Surajna Francis, known to many as Benny, is the friendly face you see at the front desk Monday-Friday from 8-4.30. She has been employed with Equity Accounting since 2017. Benny will assist you with all your registrations as well as Company and Close Corporation registrations and amendments. She also fulfils the multi-tasking role of handling SARS registrations and appointments, B-BBEE confirmations, and collections.
Benny’s friendly nature makes her a people person who enjoys assisting clients too.
KIARRA NOBLE – ICB
Kiarra joined Equity Accounting CC in 2018 and has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the bookkeeping, payroll and accounting fields for small to medium sized businesses.
Kiarra manages the bookkeeping and payroll department at Equity Accounting CC , and is in the process of completing her Diploma in Financial Accounting with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).
Her role involves liaising, assisting and over-seeing all bookkeeping and payroll requirements, including applicable statutory returns that may be required for your business. She works closely with the Partners at Equity Accounting CC and is there to ensure that all needs of our clients are met.
Steven East (Founder of Equity Accounting) – ex SAIPA, MIAC, GTP (S.A), PTP (S.A) & Certified Independent Reviewer.
Steven founded Equity Accounting in 2001 and has since grown the company from a sole practitioner to a multi-faceted Accounting Practice with various divisions to offer its clients a full house of accounting services and products. This was done by establishing strong bonds with his clients, the community, and a commitment to growing staff by offering three-year SAIPA Learnerships.
Steven has since emigrated to United Kingdom, but leaves behind his fundamental core values and integrity which he has instilled in the staff which he mentored, who now continue his legacy at Equity Accounting CC.
